Classic Optic Flies - Tradition Meets Modernity

Optic Flies trace their origins back to a legendary series of flies from the Swedish fishing tackle company Abu Garcia in the 1960s-1970s. These patterns were developed to be highly visible in the water through shiny materials and strong color contrasts, thus enticing trout and salmon.

The classic Optic Flies are based on traditional wet flies but have been modernized with eye-catching, light-reflecting materials. To this day, they remain popular patterns for rivers and streams and hold a firm place among fly tyers and collectors.
